A Brief Historical Narrative of our Chapter
Upsilon Gamma Gamma’s history is rooted in the history of eight men serving their country as enlisted and commissioned officers. Founded by eight military men stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia, present-day Fort Eisenhower, Upsilon Gamma Gamma was established on December 6, 1987, at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
The eight committed founders who recognized the need for a strong bond of friendship among African American men who served are Tony Munson, Aaron Combs, Reggie Sullivan, Michael Lyons, Corin Harper, Rodney Edmonds, Thomas Harris, and John Adams.
